This is a fast and thrilling Great Rift Valley lakes safari package with maximum Kenyan experiences. The safari theme is birds, scenery, wildlife and culture. Boat rides to explore the lakes Naivasha and Baringo are optional.

We connect Mombasa-Nairobi by Kenya airways on the 1 hour dawn flight where we join our safari driver guide and minivan to Lake Naivasha for breakfast followed by an optional bird walk or boat ride.

 

We will proceed to the lake nakuru for lunch and an afternoon bird and game drive to view the flamingoes, pelicans, rhinos, lions and many more. Our overnight will be at a lodge overlooking the “pink” lake. We take a leisurely scenic drive on the 2nd day of our safari to the lake bogoria to view the hot springs and small game heading on to Lake Baringo for lunch.


Afternoon spent at Lake Bogoria with optional lake and birding options. We will cap our 3 days, 2 nights safari with a city tour of Nairobi city and lunch at the famous ber-be-cue restaurant, the carnivore.

The 3 days Great Rift Valley package from Mombasa is offered with the option of the overnight Nairobi-Mombasa Train experience. Popular with adventurous middle aged couples, friends and small groups on charter holiday vacations at the Kenyan coastal beaches.

DAY 1: MOMBASA – NAIVASHA - NAKURU
(Nairobi to Nakuru 180 kms, Appx. 4 hrs with stop-overs)

Our 3 days 2 nights Kenya coast lake Naivasha, Nakuru, Baringo & Bogoria air, road and train safari excursion begins with an early transfer to Moi airport Mombasa for our 1 hour air/flight to Nairobi city where we meet our driver guide and safari minivan...

0400hrs: Transfer from your hotel

 0600hrs: Departure from Mombasa on 1st regular flight to Nairobi

0700hrs: Arrival in Nairobi. Met by our safari mini-van and driver guide.

Proceed to the Lake Naivasha for breakfast followed by a boat ride to the Crescent Island. Bird life abounds at the fresh water Rift Valley Lake. Continue on to the Lake Nakuru for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive around the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

DAY 2: L. NAKURU – L. BOGORIA – L. BARINGO
(L. Nakuru to L. Baringo 130 kms, Appx. 3 hrs)

Bird and game viewing drive at Lake Nakuru. Proceed to Lake Bogoria where we view the hot springs and wonderful scenery. Continue on to Lake Baringo for lunch. Afternoon optional boat rides to see Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds and the local Njemps tribe. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

DAY 3: DAY 3: L. BARINGO – CARNIVORE – NAIROBI CITY TOUR – MOMBASA
(L. Baringo to Nairobi 320 kms, Appx. 5 hrs with stop overs)

Depart Lake Baringo after breakfast. Proceed to Nairobi to arrive for lunch at the Carnivore restaurant on the outskirts of the city. Discover the city after lunch with a visit to the Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen Museum, the View Point, Parliament Buildings and the City Market before your transfer to the Nairobi Railway station.

1900hrs: Depart Nairobi on overnight train 1st class. Dinner, bedding's and breakfast on board..

DAY 4: MOMBASA

Arrive Mombasa Railway station. Met and transferred to your hotel.
