DAY 1: MOMBASA - TSAVO EAST (120 kms, Appx 2½ hrs) |
We depart from the Coast via the Mombasa – Nairobi highway. The 120km, 2hr safari journey takes us to the Southern entry point of the Bachuma gate where we stop briefly for refreshments. After a buffet lunch and a little relaxation we proceed for the afternoon game drive.
We transverse the park, looking out for game, enjoying the scenery and taking in the splendor that the African sunset immerses the jungle in. After a long day on the trek/drive we return to our base for meals and overnight. Tusker baridi is a welcome treat to relax and take in all the days adventure. |

Met by your Safari Minibus and driver guide. Drive through the agriculturally rich central highland of Kenya with views of Coffee, Tea, Sisal, Pineapple, and Wattle tree plantations. Local homesteads dot the red soiled slopes as we head past the Mt. Kenya to arrive Samburu in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at luxury lodge or camp. |

DAY 2: TSAVO EAST - AMBOSELI (300 kms, Appx 5½ hrs)

We start the day with an early breakfast before setting off for Amboseli with an exit game viewing drive. The final half of the journey is dusty and bumpy…...this is a true african jungle experience. After lunch we freshen up and relax before venturing for another short game drive.
The wild animals are easily visible here with the domineering Mt.Kilimanjaro offering the ultimate scenic background for amateur and professional photography. Did find that wild animal you so desired to see…… no worries you will definitely find it here at Tsavo East.Dinner and overnight will be at our base with vantage views of the roof of Africa. |
DAY 3: AMBOSELI - MOMBASA (430 kms, Appx. 8½ hrs with lunch stop-over) |
An early rise will give us the advantage to experience the sunrise and emergence of the mountain peak from the clouds is dramatic. We will marvel at the vistas as we enjoy our breakfast. We will later depart the Amboseli with an en-route game viewing drive, bump it out to re-join the Nairobi – Mombasa highway and proceed to the Coast with a lunch stopover en-route. We will arrive in Mombasa in the late afternoon. Drop off at our respective hotels. |
