Day 1: Mombasa- Nairobi - Masai Mara (Nairobi to Masai Mara 265kms)

The drive to the Masai Mara takes you through the Central highlands of the country with beautiful views of coffee, tea and subsistence crop plantations. You will have a brief stopover to marvel at the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Game viewing will be en-route to your ovenight base.

 

Day 2: Masai Mara

Masai Mara remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world. The reserve hosts the highest concentration of wild animals per sq. km than any other park. Its’ modest temperatures and diversity of wild life species makes the reserve a one stop shop for game viewing. This is one place you can spot the big five in a single day.


Day 3: Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru

Last day at Masai Mara. Today you start at dawn to catch the sunrise and early hunters and grazers only returning for breakfast. Depart Masai Mara for the Lake Nakuru after a mid morning game drive stopping for views of Lake Naivasha and Elmenteita. Arrival at Lake Nakuru will be late afternoon. Time permitting you take a short drive around the lake before heading to your game lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

Lake Nakuru is an ornithologists and game watchers paradise. Hundreds of thousands of flamingos,pPelicans and hundreds of other bird species canopy the shallow edges of the lake.

The adjacent park hosts both the black and white rhinos and many other animals. You depart after lunch for Nairobi on a leisurely scenic viewing drive to arrive late afternoon. You will then transferedto the railway station to depart at 1900hrs on the overnight train on 1st class. Dinner, bedding's and breakfast are offered on board.

DAY 5: Mombasa

0830hrs : Arrival Mombasa railway station, met and transferred to our respective hotels.
