Day 1 - Mombasa
Airport Pick-up by your driver/guide. The rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Indian Ocean Beach Club.
Day 2 - Mombasa City Tour
After breakfast, visit the old town of Mombasa, the tour will take you to Fort Jesus which is a historical structure built by the Portuguese in 1593.A visit to Ngomongo Cultural center is an experience, join in the traditional dances, food preparation and see how the traditional brew is made.
Lunch will be at a town hotel. After lunch you are transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3 - Bamburi Nature Trails
After breakfast we head to Bamburi Nature Trails. This is a rehabilitation project that was started in 1971 by Dr. Rene Haller. The park is home to many game animals and birds such as hippos, giraffes, cape buffalos, zebras, waterbucks, elands, oryx, bushbuck, suni, duiker, serval cat, marsh mongoose, bush pigs among others. Birds that can be seen here are black & grey heron, great whit egret, little yellow billed egret, sacred ibis, plovers, white faced tree ducks, African fish eagles, pied kingfisher, malachite kingfisher, weavers and much more. Lunch and afternoon relaxation will be at Wild Waters.Many activities offered here and it is a fantastic place to take the children. Day 4- Tsavo National Park
Today we spend the whole day at Tsavo National Park. After an early breakfast we are ready to start our safari. Being Kenya's biggest park it is divided into two East & West Tsavo . When combined it covers an area of 20812 sq km and is one of the world's largest game sanctuaries, larger than Wales in Great Britain or Jamaica in the Caribbean. Some of the spectacular sites not to be missed are, the Chyulu Hills and Mzima Springs. It is from these springs that wildlife come to quench their thirst. To view this spectacle an observation platform and underwater glass tank have been constructed.Lunch will be at a lodge in the park. After lunch is more game viewing as we head to Mombasa.
Day 5 - Mombasa Beach
After a long day yesterday, you spend the day today at your leisure. You could engage in some water sport activities or stroll on the beach and catch that peaceful, welcoming breeze before it heads off to Zanzibar.
You are picked from the airport by your driver/guide and head straight to Ambos eli stopping at Naming for some refreshments. Naming is the town that borders Kenya and Tanzania.
Proceed to Ambos eli arriving at the lodge in time for lunch and a snooze before your setting out for your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Ambos eli So pa lodge.
Day 6 - Mamba Village -Mombasa
Croc day. After breakfast you visit Mamba (crocodile) villa. Here you will learn more about crocodile' s behavior, diet, how heavy & thick a crocs egg weighs. After breakfast head for the park for a full day of game viewing. Lunch is served at the park where your driver/guide will locate the perfect spot for your picnic. More game viewing after lunch. After dinner relax at the bar and enjoy a Tusker Baridi or watch a wildlife documentary before retiring to bed.
Day 7 - Checkout
This is the last day of your 7 days safari. Depending on your outward flight time, you are transferred to the airport by your driver.
