CORRESPONDENCES
Correspondence between the client and ANTS will be sent to the signatory of the booking. Clients will be required to disclose their details as they appear on their passports for the sole purpose of defining the clients safari package, administration, billing, accounting and auditing, marketing and statistical analysis, credit and charge card companies, screening service providers, customer relations, clients follow-up and recognition. Incase of any discrepancies the client will contact our office by phone, email or post as soon as it occurs. If a booking is made through a business address, we will require a residential address for safety and emergency reasons. ANTS may disclose your details to government and law enforcement agencies if required to do so.
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel, Lodges and tented camps, are given as an indication of the category and rooms may be reserved for that particular accommodation. Wherever possible we book rooms with private baths/showers on the basis of two persons sharing a double room.We undertake to advise you of any changes known to us prior to departure, but the possibility of change without notice, must be accepted when booking.
The right is reserved to employ the services of subcontractors. Occasional mechanical problems, changes of lodge, hotel, camp or unfavorable road conditions may in turn lead to change in routing or game drives without prior notice. We reserve the right to offer substitutes of equal value. Very few itineraries if any are affected but a little flexibility on your part will ensure that we offer you the best services.The Company cannot therefore accept responsibility for any information not contained herein, being confirmed verbally by its staff or representatives unless subsequently reconfirmed in writing by the Company.Safari minibuses, cars, four wheel drive or coaches will be provided according to the route and number of participants.
CANCELLATION/AMENDMENT BY US
As safari packages are made many months in advance before the departure date, changes could occur, in such cases the same will be communicated to you as soon as possible in the avoidance of any inconveniences. ANTS, takes great care in providing accurate information about times, itineraries, transport and destination to all our clients, however these could change due to certain conditions such as:
- Weather

Government unrest (Strikes/civil disturbances)

War
-
Quarantine
-
Other natural causes.
ANTS, therefore reserves the right to alter any route or other arrangements, offer substitutes or completely cancel the whole or any portion of a safari should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline the acceptance of any person as a member of a group should the presence of that person be prejudicial to the good conduct of the safari or be contrary to the prevailing laws of the country.
CANCELLATION/AMENDMENT BY YOU
ANTS must be notified of cancellations in writing as soon as possible. If notification is received 35 days or less before commencement of our services, a cancellation fee of 25% of the price of these services is payable. If notification is received 10 days or less before commencement, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour price will be charged.A (pounds) 60 administration fee will be charged for a cancellation.
The signatory the booking accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due by the party. As the signatory (the person in charge of the booking) you may not assign, convey, subcontract, delegate or otherwise transfer your rights, duties or obligations to another member of your party. Charges for cancellation changes will be calculated from the date we receive your cancellation request, we will only accept changes/cancellation from the signatory of the booking as held in our records.
TRANSFER OF SAFARI
Discounted and fully paid bookings are restrictive and are sold on a non exchangeable/refunded basis. Sufficient time will be required to enable communication with the suppliers. Certain circumstances may lead to change of particulars(such as duration of safari, change of number of paxs) when this is the case the following documents will be required before any change can take place:

A request in writing stating the reason for change.
-Confirmed booking form/s from ANTS of the person changing.

Passport copies of the person replacing (if any).

Full payment of any deposit due plus additional charges made by the suppliers of the services (car hire companies, hotels, lodges, camps airlines or any other supplier).The following changes are subject to availability.
- Increase of numbers in a group (this may cause alteration of dates in some cases).

Change of accommodation type (hotel, lodge, camp or hostel).

Change of transportation mode such as rail, air or road.
-
Alteration of departure dates.
PAYMENTS
Published prices are based on costs at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change published prices at any time before or after your booking without prior notice. To secure a booking the client is required to pay a 50% deposit of the package for all members of the group, full balance of the package should be paid by the balance due date, as stated on the booking form.
Where full payment is not received by the balance due date any discounts will be withdrawn and the safari termed as cancelled, a cancellation charge will therefore be deducted as set in the terms & conditions. Full payment of the balance must reach ANTS 60 days before the commencement date stated on the booking form. ANTS reserves the right to cancel the booking, retain the deposit and make a cancellation charge as stated in the cancellation section if full payment is not received by the due date as stated in the booking form. The signatory of the booking will be held responsible for the full payment of the balance or any written variation of the form.
LIABILITY/RESPONSIBILITY
ANTS makes arrangements for hotel/lodge accommodation, camps, transport and conveyance as agents for clients on the condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle, or through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the safaris.
ANTS accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays, sickness, weather, strikes, civil disturbances, war, quarantine or other natural causes. All accommodation facilities offer safe deposit boxes and clients are advised to use these facilities for the safety of their valuables.We do not accept liability where any form of loss or damage is due to your own fault or that of any member of your party.
SPECIAL REQUESTS AND NEEDS
We require that you advice us of any special request at the time of booking. We will endeavor to meet them as best we can but we cannot guarantee that they will be, or will we be responsible if any are not met. Any medical conditions or disabilities should be brought to our notice at the time of booking to enable us offer you a most comfortable and enjoyable safari. Where we are unable to meet your requirements we will advise you at the time of booking.
UNUSED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
No refund will be made for any unused products or services supplied.
CHILD POLICY ON ACCOMMODATION
- Children under the age of two go free.
- children between the ages of 2 to 12 qualify for a child discount which will vary in certain circumstance due to, Accommodation or transport type/mode.
- Children under the age of 12 sharing will get a discount as outlined in the discount section.
- A maximum of 1 child under the age of 12 is allowed to share with two full paying adults if accommodation permits.
- Children who are 12 years and above will pay full adult rate.
Some suppliers do not allow accommodation of children under 13 to their establishments. In such cases supplier conditions will apply.
INSURANCE
For your sake and protection and that of members traveling in your group we strongly recommend that you take out suitable insurance, including insurance to cover the cost of cancellation of your safari and the cost of assisting you if you become ill or has an accident for the full duration of your safari. It is your responsibility to ensure the insurance you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs on your booking.
COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
Clients are advised to notify their tour guide of any complaints or concerns as soon as they occur so that they may use their best endeavors to rectify the situation. Should the problem remain unsolved, a complaint must be put in writing to ANTS within 28 days after conclusion of the safari. |
